How do these compare to actual cycle helmets in day to day use?
I remember seeing a guy in decathlon trying on ski helmets and the sales assistant recoiling in shock when the guy said it was for wearing when cycling!!
I would imagine they would be okay in the winter but are they not very hot in the summer as there's not much in the way of ventilation?
Anybody wear one regularly?

I wear mine all year round. It has vents in it, so it's not too hot. It also has ear covers that are detachable so I only use them in winter.

That's a good point actually, Mike. I get very cold ears during the winter with my normal cycle helmet, may have to take a look then.

I've got one for cold weather use, the ear flaps are very welcome. There is adjustable ventilation in the helmet too. In warmer weather i switch back to my Bell helmet.

I use mine all year round but ear flaps in winter only.

Not too hot on anything but the most blazing days but I'm a baldy which prob helps!

Yes they do include ear flaps which are removable.
Goggles are not included.

Hello everyone,
I have bought one of these but have not used it yet.
With my all weather commuting I have been trying to find a waterproof rain cover to wear with it but cannot find one yet.
Does anyone know where a rain cover can be found to fit these skate board style helmets?

Girls shower cap, or a skin coloured swimming cap?

Alternatively and more sensibly, search Ebay for 'army helmet cover'.

German, Norwegian, Swedish, and Swiss kit is usually of better quality than the UK supplied kit.

Why does the swimming cap have to be skin covered? you can get a fluorescent one that equates to a hi-vis cover!!!
