I am a bit old time and not got used to the new trends. Only just got Swalbe Marathon Tyres in the last four years and punctures down to nil now instead of one a week.

Not sure how an ebike will fit into my life. I have been using a pedal bike every day for 30 years and only struggle up 10%+ hills (twice a week), and Force 5+ winds. Stiles and gates and inclines too slippery to cycle up or down are on route as well. Then they would be a disadvantage. Geography does not allow alternative routes. Down to privatisation of the water board is that.
