Hi all,
Has anyone had any experience with this type of LCD and controller?
I recently got one to replace an 861 type LCD and have just managed to get past it turning my motor backwards but have had no set up manual sent to me for parameters settings.
Many thanks.

Normally you get a set up manual and set up wheel size, max speed, etc etc. and with this type of lcd i read you can set it up for many types of adjustment but have had no manual to help. I was hoping it would be plug it in and away you go but again its not that easy. I hoped i tracked down a kit that used a rolling throttle with 5 levels of power. i have e mailed the supplier but it doesn't have a name to help track down any user guides.
cheers.

Not in any particular order:
Wheel size
Kph/mph
backlight brightness (when on)
PAS start level
Time before entering sleep mode when idle
maximum speed

It should be obvious which is which. PAS will be 0 to 5. Not sure about light, but probably 1 to 4. Speed will be 0 to 40 or something like that.

Ok great thank you I'll go through that. Do you think pas value would help with it not being smooth operating particularly under load now it's turning the correct way?

No. All it does is set the level to a particular one when you switch on. It's completely insignificant.

Tell us what motor you have and your exact symptoms, then we can attempt to help you.

FYI, not all controllers work with all motors. You can't always connect the motor to the controller colour to colour.

Does your controller have the self-learning wires? Are they presently connected or not?

No the controller does not have self learning wires and looks quite simple compared to what I've been using. The only wires that aren't in use are brakes and pas though in the advert details it said you can switch between pas or rolling throttle or use both which suited my bike perfectly as I want it to work off the throttle only and pedal freely like a regular bike.
I'm beginning to get a lot of new spare parts!
I can still ride my bike luckily but on see the battery level indicator so it's not all bad!

Fantastic..!!! Just managed to pair up the 1000w programmable LCD and controller to a brushless non labelled hub motor and it flies!!
5 levels of throttle assist.
Bring on the mud.
