Securing eBikes in the back of a panel van

Looking for a better method than using bungee straps in the back of a panel van to make the eBikes secure and to stop them moving.

Looked at using a wall mounted bike repair stand fitted to the wood panelling in the back of the van, but the dimensions aren’t compatible and the jaw doesn’t open wide enough for tubing on the eBikes.

How do other panel van users secure their eBikes in the back of their van.

All tips welcome.

If it were just a question of the jaw not opening enough for the frame, perhaps you could support the bike round the seat post.

When I use to carry two motorcycles in a van I found old fashioned rope and ratchet straps worked fine

For a while, I used this type of fork-fixing block screwed into the floor (not this actual brand). It worked very well, but it became a pain due to the bike always being in a fixed position and having to remove and also store the front wheel separately. I reverted back to bungee cords which to me seem to offer an equally secure but more versatile method depending upon what else I also needed to carry on each different outing.

You get a device thats like a mini bike rack, like you used to have at school. it has slots for the front wheel. the best ones allow you to fit two tie sraps, which prevent the bikes leaning over when you go round cornerd, which can damage the wheels or tyres.

Thanks for all your replies. In the end, I opted for a DIY approach. Affixed two furniture legs to the back of the van. One on the side wall to hold the seat post and one on the floor to hold the front wheel, using Velcro to attach it all together. Tried it out and all seems secure.
