second conversion - treking bike: rear hub, octalink, hydraulics

contemplating my second conversion. This is for my trekking /hybrid, a Giant Roam. I want to be able to switch it back to using in fully non-ebike mode quickly and easily so a hub motor is a must. would prefer rear hub for the obvious ride quality reasons. Been out of the scene for a while so would appreciate some tips on what the latest good kits are:

requirements:

PAS sensor - but I'm used to riding a TSDZ2 torque sensor, so as similar to that in feel as possible.

PAS sensor must fit shimano octalink BB/3x crankset(i.e. NOT square taper).
handlebar controller / PAS level adjust must not be a grip based mount (I have moustache bars, so ). Smaller better.
Hub motor built into a strong, quality 700C wheel running 40mm tyres (weight will be panniers + battery + me, 120kg plus)
135mm vertical dropouts. 10x cassette hub. Disk brakes.
Shimano Deore Hydraulic disk brakes so nothing where the levers need to be changed as part of the kit.
No battery required - I already have a 10ah 36v battery pack, custom made by Jimmy at insat for my folding bike. I'll move it into a rack-top box for this use case.

Both the Octalink PAS and the hydraulic brake sensors require a bit of ingenuity to do a good job, but it is perfectly possible. (I've done these on two bikes - a pack of Sugru helps a lot!)

Talk to Woosh - they have all the bits you need.

A German conversion kit company does sell an excellent Octalink compatible PAS kit (a bit neater than the Woosh arrangement). The price of the kit is OK, but the international postage doubles the price.
I did have a link for this, but it got deleted once I had sorted out with the Woosh version - sorry.

for octalink, we use a precut disc made by King Meter (Bafang company).
The disc is epoxied to a plastic horseshoe carrier which is cabletied to the spokes of the chainring.

The sensor is King Meter Dual Hall pedal sensor mounted to the bottom bracket cup. I can fit it without having to pull the chainring out but it is a lot easier to pull the ring out first.

I had octalink and a shaft drive combo to deal with! Woosh supplied a drilled out pas ring and with the aforementioned sugru the job was done :)

Octalink pas in the link below - you may need to drill & tap the bottom bracket to secure the sensor holder

As always, liquid electric tape at the sensor joints & wire entry point works wonders
