I have a Cyclamatic that is about 3 years old. It has had limited use and has been fine for my occasional rides. I came to recommission it for 2014 and have found that mysteriously over the winter the pedals no longer appear to have any function apart from as foot rests. 
Any attempt to pedal produces zero locomotion, they turn but don't seem to have any effect on the chain-wheel. There is still plenty of motor power so I could use it in power only mode, but then it wouldn't be a pedelec! Any thoughts on what may have happened.
