newboater I use arkon sm432 megagrip about £10 on amazon the only thing is there is a square bracket with an insert but it is not clear how this fits to the holder, but it is solid and you can swivel the phone to assist seeing it in sunny conditions. I would suggest using a strong rubber band around phone and holder.
I use cyclestreets as it has a audio feature for directions, but being a bit deaf in one ear it can be difficult for me to hear directions if I am in any traffic
