I purchased a new controller from China complete with a thumb throttle and pedal sensor and display.
wired up the feed to the hub and guess what ? It works.
May I ask for an internet link for the seller and the part numbers or names of the compatible thing(s) you bought from them, please?

The 6-wire connector is for the three motor hall sensors and the speed sensor. That's the same for most motors and most controllers. Cut the connector off your motor cable and the new controller, then solder the wires directly. You don't need a connector that end because there's one on the other end of the motor cable.

Why are you wanting to replace the controller? What's the problem you're trying to solve? What tests did you do to that controller to indicate that it was faulty?

I have a liberte ebike. the lights all light up. I can flick to 0-3 power setting battery seems fine but no power to the motor. If i connect the motor only to another bike it spins immediately. What Controller can I buy to replace that please?

We always recommend KT controllers that you can buy from Ebay, Aliexpress, Amazon, though we tend to buy them direct from Chinese resellers, like Topbikekit.

Before ordering, you need to check whether your motor is sensored (9 pin connector) or sensorless (less than 9 pins). I would get 15A and the one with block connectors rather than the waterprrof ones.

I have two Swifty Liberte folding ebikes and one has stopped working with electric assistance, after some checks and finally swapping the control boxes I have established that it’s a control box failure. The box in question is by Santroll Electric Automobile Technology, Model No B-WZKD3613KA-JM102-F4, I have emailed the company mentioned and also the bike manufacturer and am yet to receive a reply. I have also contacted Amazon who were the original supplier of this model ebike, nothing , they don’t carry spares. Any suggestions please
