The only member shown in that area on the Pedelecs members map is jennykins near Lytham St Annes, but she hasn't posted in the forum since 1st January 2009.

Just in case she still looks in, heres a link to send her a PM.

yes thanks for the help, I remember I see in thread sometime ago that I asked a member who lived there a question on cycling on the front from annes northwards, but I cant find the thread.
I think he said 15 miles all off road but cant remember the details. looks like I will just have to go and find out. :)

Hi. You can cycle on the seafront north from St Anne's through Blackpool to Fleetwood. The website for Lancashire county council cycling is good. I think most of the route is Sustrans route 62. It is a good run and makes use of the battery on a windy day.
Hope this helps.

That is most helpful thank you, best find a hotel now. Wife said I could escape for few days soon and
I thought I may stop over there and have a ride along the front.

I live in Bispham which is just north of Blackpool and commute to St Annes every day ;-)

And yes - the promenade is a dedicated, car free cycle route all the way from here to here - the bit between South Pier and North Pier is busy with peds so keep your wits about you on that stretch :)

Lovely place to cycle.
