Anyone here know the size of the rivnuts that go on the frame to hold bottle ect, I have fitted a yose kit but needed to put 2 more rivnuts in the frame to hold the battery I don't suppose it's worth trying halfords and bike shops around this neck of the woods don't seem interested in parts .

They're 5mm. You want to get ones with a decent flange on them for easiest fitting. Some habe virtually no flange.

5mm standard thread for bottle cage mounting. If I remember correctly it’s a 7.1 mm hole for a 5mm rivnut and I’d also look for knurled nuts as they grip better with less chance of spinning in the hole

Sorry, I forgot to mention that standard bottle fixings are M5, but there's nothing to stop you using M6 ones for your battery mount. They're a little stronger. On some mounts, the head height of an M6 cap screw might be a bit high, so you might have to use screws with flatter heads of which there are many types.

Tried all the cycle shops here but to no avail and they wonder why we shop online, I have ordered 5mm from Ebay but looking at the bike cross bar it seems almost impossible to get a drill in there, thinking I could drill right through from underneath and fit a long bolt? Or would you not advise?

I use a Dremmel (clone) with a carbide burr bit to carefully grind out the hole to a the correct size. The aluminium is quite thin, so you have to be carefull. Even if you could drill, the hole will go oval because it's so thin and tubular.
