Most controllers with LCDs by default use one of the hall sensors for the speed signal. I know that the Conhismotor controllers and the S series from BMSBattery work like that. The speed shown on the LCD is then motor speed. Iknow about that because it's what happened when I used the Conhismotor one with my GNG crank drive. I can't guarantee that those controllers work with the Tonaro motor. You need to check in the various Tonato groups which controllers work with it to be sure, or perhaps someone here knows the answer. I can't see any reason why they shouldn't.
