Replacement Front Hub Motors

If you were going for a new front hub motor 250-350W (36V) which one would you be inclined to go for that has good power and torque.

Looking to replace my aging Bafung at some point soon but want to replace it with something that is noticeably better.

The Bafang BPM and CST are the common choices, but don't forget that you need an appropriate controller to get the most out of one, and then you nerd a battery capable of providing the higher current, i.e. a complete new kit.

Forgive me but those are rear aren't they ?

The BPM is front or rear. The CST is obviously rear only.

The Q100 doesn't give any more power than the standard Bafang SWX type motors - not that I've noticed anyway - however, it does go quite well at 44v, but so does the Bafang.

For controllers, tthe KU123 or the S12S from BMSBattery. For thr battery, anything that can give 30 amps would be OK. This is my favourite at about £250, but batteries are improving all the time:

25 amps is pushing it a bit but should be OK. What motor is it?

The BMS is set for only 15A countinuous. It should be fairly tame.

read the 'more info' tab:

I have read the info.But chinese info are very often not correct.The reason I ask is because I belive I have read somewhere that this bttery had more than 15 amps countinuous
