Removing battery on Cannondale Synapse Neo

Hi guys. I purchased a Synapse Neo 9 months ago and apart from seeing the battery removed in the Evans shop, have always charged the bike without removing it. Today I tried to take the battery out and whilst the key turns and the cover moves out slightly (about 1mm) , the battery cannot be removed.
Has anyone else had this problem?

There’s a catch you need to press . When the key is turned and the battery pops out slightly, feel along the bottom edge and you will feel the catch, press it and you can then slide the battery out

Thanks, but the cover did not go out far enough to reach the catch. I took it to Evans this morning and apparently the battery cradle had worked loose and the battery had moved downwards preventing the cover from opening. Lesson: check the cradle securing bolts regularly!
