Thanks for that.....new spokes are now fitted, and new rear tyre back on......hopefully it will warm up soon, so that I can go on a long test ride........

I'm finding that a surgical mask, thin showerproof and windproof hat under my jawguarded helmet and helmet cover, gloves, bubblewrap under front of jumper, thermal underwear, silk socks over wool socks, are helpful in keeping out the cold on shorter rides...

Be careful when buying that Carrier type battery on Ebay , most are not supplied with the BMS , just the case containing the cells , possibly with a new Carrier . If the BMS is remote from the battery then you won`t have to pay extra for it which might be £50 .
