Removable or integrated battery

Decided on a minimal assist gravel ebike to use for long distance touring. The 2 main choices are fazua and emotion motors. The emotion motor is on a wider range of bikes but the battery is integrated so will cause issues charging away from home. Any ideas or do i just go for the fazua motor as its removable for charging ?

Depending where you keep the bike a non-removable battery can give problems charging in winter as well as when away from home.

Yes Li batteries (and many others) don't like being stored, and especially hate being charged, at very low temps, so unless the whole bike lives indoors, being able to remove the battery (or for the fazua, I think the motor comes too?) is highly recommended.

Plus if you can take something off, it gives a good indication that you could, if necessary, replace it.. Or even carry a spare. If only my phone and tablet had stuck with that idea...
