Why are they so expensive? Are they worth the extra money over anything else?

Personally i can not see how they can be worth 5 times the amount I paid for my bike which has a Bosch motor but I am sure someone will explain.

I’m about to take delivery of my third R&M bike and for me they are worth the money charged. They use quality parts and take more care in the manufacturing than some I’ve seen.
No doubt they enjoy a greater margin than the pile them high and sell them cheap brigade.


But as with cars are the top models worth much more than the popular makes? It all depends on your disposable income.
Except I see more BMW’s on the hard shoulder than most newish cars so they don’t count. I managed 14,000 plus miles on my Delite with little trouble.

I’ve more expense with the Haibike but nothing that isn’t expected. Gears, chain, brake pads etc.
