Hi Glassman,

You say you are in the north west UK, but could you be a bit more specific, to me that means western Scotland.

I would suggest checking the the various UK distributors websites for a list of dealers in your area.

Hi.

We've only released bikes with 125mm travel so far, so there are dealers with these in stock, but if you want 140mm travel+ you'll need one of our new 2015 bikes called the eGnition which has 150mm travel.

It comes in 2 versions that can be used in the UK on public land, the eGnition Plus, and eGnition GPS+ both use the performance Bosch Drive.

No one will have stock until early in the new year though..

We are just opening up a dedicated KTM offroad eBike test centre in north wales, (just over the border so not too far from you) so they will have lots of bikes to try shortly.

Details to follow in the next few days. They only just placed their order this morning!

Regards
Col.

Hello, you should also consider a bike from the FOCUS Thron and Jarifa range

http://www.50cycles.com/electric-bikes/offroad.html

They all offer more powerful motors than the Bosch, much greater battery capacities and they picked up a couple of prestigious awards earlier this year. Here's the full-suspension Thron Premium Impulse with 17Ah battery we have in stock now, I ride one of these along the South Downs Way when I get the chance, it's unstoppable.

We had a customer come into our Richmond store from Réunion in the Indian Ocean, he rode back through France before flying the final leg.

Yes, its a great looking bike, the pictures really don't do it justice.

With regards to the new eBike centre in Wales, we sat down with the owner yesterday and did their initial order, so we hope it'll all be go soon. Its in an amazing part of the world for testing eBikes.

Nothing has been officially announced, but I think I'm safe to say it's going to be in the Mold area of North Wales, so hopefully good access for the North West.

Cheers
Col.

Again thanks for all the advice, I've got a list of dealers to call today

Tim, the Thon is a new one to me, but I know of Focus, what travel is the Thron ? I Can't see it on the focus website (probably being blind)

Also when you say more powerful do you mean the 350w model ? It's a consideration but how much more powerful is it in the real world ? Is it worth getting in trouble for :)
