Rear wheel recommendations please

Can somebody recommend a heavy duty rear wheel ,i want something that can take a beating.Heavy duty.Im not fussed about weight.26'' cassette .

Without pictures of your bike, I can't say if it's possible to do so.
If your rear frame can take 3" wide tyres, then you can use wide rims like on my Rio Fat Boy.

I think you probably can use 45mm wide rims like I have on the Rio-FB.
You don't have to use 3" wide tyres, the rim can take 2.6" Smart Sam tyres for example.
I don't sell them though, it's a suggestion.

If you want a good wheel, best to buy the rim and either build it yourself or get someone to put it together for you (not easy if you want your electric hub in the rear wheel, most bike shops turn their noses up at such things). For my commuting bike I use one of these:

It's working well on the pot holed roads. But you will be looking for an MTB rim for yours, have a look on the www.ryde.nl website, they have some heavy duty ones.

My rims are supplied by the factory that built the bike. Search the net for wide rims. Something like this 38mm wide may be?
