How do you negotiate pavements,do you bounce up or down them,or try and avoid any kerbs,i think going up or down kerbs is the most damaging thing on any bike, ebikes even more so, on a poorly inflated tyre it must be almost like a hammer blow to the rim.with the extra weight of battery and motor causing more damage than on a normal bike, potholes damage car wheels yet many people try and bounce bikes up and down kerbs, without any thought to the damage caused.

I have last years version of op's bike. We must have similar wheels? I only do off road/downhill, xc, trail centre runs and my bike has to endure 3ft drop offs, ploughing through big roots, rocks, shale and flint trails and all the other extremes theses bikes are built for. Never had any trouble with the wheels. There must be some other factor thats causing this? Sorry I can't be of more help.
