Hi, I have a 3 week old ebike, the rear v brake on the chain side doesn’t return freely as the front does, is there an easy fix? I realise it’s in warranty but first service is not due for 200 miles+. The shop is 35 miles away so any help would be greatly appreciated.

It should be simple to adjust using the adjustment screws on either side that control the return force:

Can sometimes get out of kilter if something changes the cable line at the break end, especially that last quarter-turn cable guide (not sure its proper name ... no found it ... its a noodle). On the whole I've found them easier to adjust than any other sort of brake I've had. Make sure the noodle is properly seated in the noodle holder.
