With my rear drive motor in situ on my bike I can see when I assemble the brake disc to the motor, it isn't going to line up with the caliper. Any way around this with some standard part?

The caliper screws are normally in slots, so once released, the caliper can move sideways; however, often, that's still not enough, so a single 12mm washer inserted behind the anti-rotation washer will sort it.

If you take the wheel-nut and the nut inside the cassette off, there's two 12mm washers inside the cassette. If you have plenty of chain clearance on the cassette side, you can use one or both of those washers. It's a bit of a pain to have to slide everything over the motor wires, but not difficult. You always have to play about with washers to get the correct motor installation.

Assemble your cassette to the motor to do this try-fit, so that you can check both sides, but don't do up your cassette retainer tight otherwise you can't get the cassette off to adjust things. Only tighten it hen you're sure everything is correct. The ia is to line up the disc on the one side and leave one or two mm clearance between your chain and the frame on the other.

Thanks all,
It was as d8veh described above, switched a washer from cassette side to disc side and packed the frame out another 3 or 4mm on the disc side with a couple of extra washers and the disc lines up spot on. I am unable to have both the locking nut and the anti-rotation washer thing both on under the cassette side so which should I leave on as its aint going anywhere whichever?

You can switch your anti-rotation washer to the outside, but have you put your cassette on yet to check your top gear clearance?

Yes, I put the cassette on and there was about 1mm clearance between the last cog and the frame. Having just re-read your post I may need to place a washer back under the cassette side as I never considered the thickness of the chain being on that last cog too.
