I have striped it all down Dave, been into Halfords to get their opinion, it would seem the old freewheel was broken, it does have rings to tighten it but it looked very cheap, compared to the Halfords own the burisch one looked hand made :)

Anyway for now I have bought a Halfords one, they didn't have much choice and my original was 11T the new one is 13 and will keep me going till I can order one online, thing is does anyone know the washer config, I seem to have a large gap on the side of the derailleur, will have to ask them what the setup was :(

To Follow up, I have now finished it was a pretty easy job hardest part was getting the wheel back in, need to adjust the gears slightly but nothing major.

Thanks again for all your help.

Does anyone know if you can get a quieter freewheel hub, this el cheapo Halfords one is very clickey when not pedalling

It seems like 11-xx Freewheels are like rocking horse s**t, Shimano used to make one
Shimano HG50 Multiple Freewheel 11-34T
But they no longer make it, you can buy from China by a company called DNP who are supplying the E-bike trade apparently but really I need to try and source an old stock HG50..Don't suppose anyone has one :)

I think my original is a DNP

You can get a DNP one from Cyclezee or the link I gave you before.

I have a DNP one now, they are pretty poor quality, was hoping to find a old Shimano one :)

Currently DNP are the only company making 11 geared freewheels :(

There's now lots of cassette (free-hub) motors available, so you can keep your gearing that you have before conversion. I reckon that free-wheel motors won't be so widespread in a couple of years.
