Hello all, I’m looking to buy my first e-bike, I’ve quite a few normal bikes nearly all Raleigh & Carlton racers from the 70s, I’m now looking for a more relaxed ride, and no stress going uphill.
I’ve a choice between a Raleigh Motus tour or Hi bike trekking 4, not sure which one to choose, has anyone any experience with these bikes& which bike would you choose, thanks

We've got a relatively old (2016) Motus, step through with hub gears, and it has served us well.
You'll be that much older as your new bike ages;
I really recommend step-through even if you don't need it now.
If you are happy with derailleur there are quite a few similar good ones from Cube.

A friend just bought a really excellent Gazelle Orange C8.
Gazelle has a wide range of relaxed bikes, not that many places to buy in UK, but some.
She ended up with with Winstanley in a sale, they were the only place she could find that model.

She also visited electricbikesbristol who have a range of newish second hand Gazelle.
She found them extremely obliging and helpful, but they couldn't supply exactly what she needed.

Remember the downside of Bosch and similar proprietary electrics bikes; you are very tied for spares, they may be difficult to come by and expensive if anything happens out of warranty. Replacement batteries will be very expensive too when needed.

You might be better off with Woosh or Wisper as the parts they use are much more generic with easy to find parts. eg https://wooshbikes.co.uk/?santana
