Hi I am Andy. Just had my Raleigh Evo -2 Folding bike upgraded with a conversion kit. Slightly bizarre happening with display instrument. The supplied monitor vibrated through the from wheel motor. If you put your hand on the monitor it stopped vibrating! Anyway the converter guy replaced it with a KT- LCD5 display instrument. No vibration now but speedo does work properly. if you spin the wheel while the ebike is stationary it shows no speed, also happens if you stop pedalling.
I paid £700 for the conversion and £250 for the bike originally. Samsung battery on it. Goes like a bomb! And uphill. It would be great to sort the speedo out, but love my new conversion.
The fitter didn't know why the speedo didn't work properly, but at least the vibration has stopped now.
Anyone experienced anything similar.
The P settings when setting Kt- LCD5 monitor doesn't stop flashing so may be something to do with it.
***I found a good 'you tube video' to help me( see below), but as I said the P programming just blinks doesn't stop blinking
I doesn't effect the bikes performance
Any advise would be great.
Stay safe and well.
Happy biking

Write down of all your P & C settings and then press C10 Y for a system restore and re- enter the values and see if P settings stop blinking.

For the speed setting what do you have P2 set as ?
Also doe the motor have internal speed sensor or an external spoke magnet and sensor ?
