Quick question about batteries..

if it is 11spd make account of the cost of the parts and esp front sprockets.
ah, the joys of an incorrect post ;)

The 11sp and 10sp bikes have the same front sproket.

I'm guessing you mean rear cassette. But even this isn't much different, and will become the norm, where as 10 and 9sp cassettes will go up in price as they become more and more obsolete. Sram have 12sp next year and Shimano already have the patent for 14sp.

God knows how bad chainlines will be in the future.

12spd is this year ;) 11spd sram cassettes need x sync front sprockets to work right.
Sorry yes... bike industry. June is 2017. Its when us and all the other brands launch the 2017 ranges and we'll all have the 12 speed stuff on it. You won't find it on a 2016 bike.

Sram is also pretty rare on eBikes, don't think you'll find a Sram 11sp eBike on anything but the very top end from any brand. Most 11sp stuff will be Shimano XT.

my bike was top end and sram tho you wont get any with sram eagle as there are no front sprockets for them yet for ebikes.

the teeth are completely different and not backwards compatible.

Looking at a Bosch CX powered bike .

Salesperson told me that because it produces a lot more torque than my bosch classic it needs less assistance for any given situation so will go further on the same size battery.

Is this true?
Salespeople rarely have a grasp on physics.

Roughly speaking:

Power = Speed x Torque.

In other words, for a given amount of power you can climb hard, or go fast (depending on what gear you use).

Same amount of power taken from your battery.

The only place that one manufacturer can gain on another is in efficiency. The same laws apply to all.

Normally when a salesman quotes physics he's talking Boll*cks.
