Quick Battery Charging Question

I just received my back up battery. When I plug it in to charge, the green LED light comes on (on the transformer) to say the battery is full but the battery is flat, I've tried two different chargers and both are showing the green led. When I push the on/off button on the top of the battery no lights come on. I have fitted it to the bike and there is definitely no charge. What could the main culprit be?

fuse could be blown or the cell voltage too low to accept a charge
I agree.
To the OP:-
Send it back to the supplier under guarantee, as it could be a sign of eventual permanent battery problem - short working life etc..
Its not your job to delve inside (which will probably end the guarantee) to try and fix it, whatever the problem is.
Remember:- Not your problem!
Best of luck
Andy

BMS won't allow any charge to take place because it detects a fault, likely is that a cell group if faulty or low, a lot of batteries don't use a charge fuse as the BMS performs the fault finding .

If it is faulty then I wouldn't send it back unless the seller arranges pick up.

Thanks for your help, I'll take the advice and ask the seller to collect and replace for a new one.
