whereas http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/bikes/2016-macina-sport-10-cx5/ says Bosch Performance. I understand it is just a typo?

Does Macina Tour offer a more upright position than Sport?

There is a simple code with all the 2016 KTM bikes.

Macina : means it has a bosch drive

10 : is the number of gears

CX : is the drive

5 : means it has the 500wH battery.

So in another case, the Macina Force 9 A4... has a bosch drive, 9 speed, Activeline motor and 400w battery.

If any bike has a + at the end, it means it has Nyon.

So in your case, yes this site has a typo, and the brochure is correct. The Macina Sport 10 CX5, has the CX drive.

And, yes, the Macina Tour has a more relaxed geometry, than the sport, but this is also helped by the adjustable stem on the Tour.

yes, any bike you see from the 2016 range that ends in a 5, comes with the 500w battery.

CX5 = CX drive, and 500w battery.
P5 = Performance drive, and 500w battery

CX5+ = CX drive, 500w battery and Nyon.

etc etc
