How far is it up that hill?. You might be better with the Bafang CST.

Hi Dave.

It's about 2 mile long, but it's a gradual climb, I was thinking about the Bafang CST, but I need a motor that will run on a sinewave controller

Bafang CST can run using sine wave controller s06s. I have been using it for nearly 6 months.

In the data sheet about this battery, the continuous discharge rate is stated as 10 amps ( maximum 20 amps). In the description the continuous discharge rate is stated as 20 amps, which if would probably be a good match for the bafang CST but at 20 amps Max discharge a bit weedy eh?

I don't know how many times this has come up. It's a 20A controller, and 20A CONTINUOUS battery.

OK,
My comment/question should have been whether the controller is rated at 20 amps Max or continuous... Apologies if I have misunderstood.

Do either of you know where they sell the bafang 36v 350w motor with a 700c wheel, looks like bms and gbk only sell the motor.

Definitely consider the 500w one, Ronnie:

I've put one in the back of my bouncer, with a S12s controller & an Ezee 14ah flatpack inna backpack...

One can definitely confirm it'll pull Granny off the pot
The torque is Adequate _ And then some!
