Did you document this build @vfr400? Sounds interesting...
Not really. I used a 48v 22 amp GNG motor in the middle with an extra chainwheel bolted to the original one to raise the gearing, a large Xofo geared cassette motor in the back running at 64v and 30 amps, and a Bafang BPM in the front running at 64v and 30 amps. They all shared the same throttle, which was connected to the motors via a Cycle Analyst. I used lipos to get the current. When I opened the throttle, it would leave 20ft stripes up the road from each tyre. Acceleration reminded me of my GSXR1100 except it was instant. I should've put wider tyres on it, but I wanted it to look like a normal bike.

Looks like the pillion rider would have got a hoot out of the ride.

Yep, they love being on the e-bike. I use a Tortec Expedition rack, which is rated up to 35kg. I had to fabricate my own bracket arms for the front though, as the Powabyke doesn't come with pre-drilled holes on the rear down tubes like modern bikes. Instead I got some 3 mm thick aluminium stock, cut two 25 mm strips and drilled holes at each end and spray painted black. One set of ends fit either side of the saddle bolt and the other ends bolt onto the rack.
