Problems With Search Facility

Since the recent server problems there has been a large gap has appeared when trying to search for historic posts and threads.

I find this a most useful tool and feel sure I am not alone in this.

The gap is from 10/01/2104 up to 11/05/2105, are others finding this too?

I have also contacted admin about this in the hope that there is a solution.

Thanks John.

We are just upgrading the forum software at the moment which will allow us to use the latest enhanced search facility. We had to disable the old one as our server was getting denial of service attacks. It should be resolved in the next few days.

You can find everything with Google if you need to. Just add the word Pedelecs to your search string, and if you know the name of the poster, add that too.

Try searching for a post or thread that was created between 10/01/2014 and 11/05/2015

Hopeless, I've already noticed that anomally. The world apparently ended around December 2014.
.
Can you give me an example of your search query.

Thanks
Russ.

Hi Russ,

e.g. if you search for a post by Flecc there is a gap between 10/01/2104 and 11/05/2015, the same applies to other searches I have tried.

What time did you last try the search John?

As John says Russ. In fact a previous search for all my posts ended at 2014, nothing from 2015 showing.

However, I've just tried again and all are showing, so it seems ok now. Thanks.

Or click on Resources in the title line and then click on Search in the dropdown list that appears.
