Problems with my aggatu c8 on holiday

I have two aggautus (a C3 and a C8) and have taken both on holiday to the hilly west of Ireland - the C3 is eating hills but the C8 is failing miserably.
I obviously have a problem (and i am a long way from any ebike help) and am not sure where to start. Removing the ebike bit (and after swapping batteries) hasn't made any difference to either bike. The gears on the C8 seem strange 1-5 seem like first gear - 6-8 offer some purchase - i can feel the assist coming through but not very much even in high mode and while the c3 skips by me I am struggling to get up any hill

any diagnostic help appreciated

just take it to any local bike shop and get them to look at gear set up for a start...

If its the Panasonic drive, has the chain come off the small drive sprocket under the chain guard.

thanks for the replies - going to bike shop today - just very frustrating to have come to great cyclying territory and not to have the bike working - its my wifes bike so I hadn'r ridden it till this week but the contrast between the C3 and The C8 in its current state is startling - will be visiting 50cycles when i go back - thanks again

I had a problem with my PC C8 until I discovered high gears and slow cadence. Not trying to teach grandmother to suck eggs but I thought I'd say it 'cos I'd feel pretty dumb if it turned out to be that and I was sitting here muttering "I knew that!"

Oh, and also. Are the yellow gear markers lined up?

I'm just Mr Obvious today
