Power connections

Bought something like this :https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174646921603. My old Battery connections look like in photo. Should I just cut the wires & Join them?

Yes, solder and heatshrink them. Make sure that the pronged bit goes in the battery the right way round. temporarily install it wherever it goes then check with a meter to make sure that the red is the positive. You can't always go by the colours.
