Just a couple more questions -

Am I safe to buy a bike now and be guaranteed to be able to fit on a retro fit lock later ?

The dealer I tried the X bike with ( the one revolution version ) has to order the bikes in. Are all X bikes in the Powabyke warehouse now the one revolution versions ? ( I don't want to order one and find out its the 4 revolution version and be stuck with it ! I just couldn't live with that version ! )

By the way i'm very impressed that Powabyke is listening to customer comments and finding solutions to problems that customers are finding. I think its great that Powabyke has a knowledgeable voice on the forum. It makes a refreshing change to get good customer service these days ! Well done Powabyke and FrankC !

Thanks TwistNgo.
Hi TwistNgo, it will simply be a locking bolt that stops the battery from being slid out of the brackets. It's a very basic lock but will make removing it that much harder.

We have just sold out but have another container due around the 10-14th July. These will all be 1 revolution starts.

Thank you for your kind comments, I don't log on that often but always try to help when people ask about Powabyke.

I'm a bit out of date with recent electric bike news so forgive me if this has been asked already !

Does the Powabyke x bike have a lock on its battery as standard yet ? ( so a thief can't nick it ).

I simply will not buy an E bike without a lock on its battery ! batteries are expensive and I don't want one nicked ! :)

I can't seem to find this information anywhere.

The XBykes in the gents style do have a locking bracket as standard now.

powacycle dealer surport is not good , deal with them direct parts are easy available from them mail order, but in my experience having used and just sold my infineum after 7 months i found it lacked power and was pretty useless on the hills mine you i weigh 95kgs and they base the bikes range and power on a 70kg rider but power is not an issue with my alien special 11 apart from a very noisey motor !

powerbyke -infineuim

thats one of the problems i had with the infinium after a while with all the rattling around the battery works loose which cuts the power whilst riding i had to make a clamp to hold it steady as the rattling drove me mad ! i also found the infinium was useless on the hills and lacked power for me, but they base the rider on 70kg . i will agree though the motor could hardly be heard in operation . i sold mine after 7 months .
