has anyone used posi - taps to couple another battery to the main battery leads, ie in parallel

Will they carry the current?
I have used scotch locks on 12 volt lighting circuits with success.

yes the blue ones are perfect, used a lot on motor bikes, scotch locks are a bit iffy.
