Lol. Mopeds in the UK haven't needed pedals since the law was changed to 28 mph because the pesky kids where flying round on there 60 mph mopeds.1974 Fizzy with pedals

. Purple ones where the fastest mine used to do 120 after ½ a larger.

Blame the authorities, like our DfT. They extended the term moped to 50cc light scooters etc without pedals, restricted to 30 mph in the UK, 45 kph in the EU.

Do you think that the market is mainly top end e-motorbikes?

I looked at the Zero when I had better employment possibilities. I could see it being a lifelong investment at my age. I need however about 250 km range on the open road and it falls just short for the moment.

The new French e-bonus for 2017 is here:

200 € for a pedelec (or 20% of value see below)
1000 € for a Zero, Twizy or other tricycle with motor over 3 kW
6000 € for an electric car
