I didn't have time to get hand on the controller yet. But I will post it soon.
In the mean time I just had a thought of converting existing 36V battery to a 48V battery. Does it make any sense? is it possible at all? is SWHX motor able to work on 48V?
PS: My common sense says if 36v is possible to convert into a 48v the AH will be reduced. That is fine for me. As long as it would run 10-15miles on 1 charge.
It's tricky to convert a 36v battrry to a 48v one. You'd need to find matching cells and you'd need to wire in a new BMS. Some people have used a 12v booster battery. Use the forum search facility to find threads on how to do it.
It has three solid state shunts, 0.002 Ohms each. I've not seen that before. It implies that the controller's measuring phase current rather than battery current. I'm not sure what you'd do to change it.
