phase wiring

hi, i have an electric bike I have just perchest a controller with an LCD screen I have put it together. but the only way it will work is if I putt green into blue and blue into green then it will run fine ? will this cause any damage in the long run?

If you mean you have swapped over two of the three big phase wires going to the motor, should be fine. What that does is reverse the direction of rotation of the motor, so if it all seems to be working properly, there shouldn't be a problem.

As for why that was necessary, that is another question!

No you will be fine , not all hubs and controller phases sequences work colour to colour.
