Hi People

I believe I have found the perfect saddle for my Kalkhoff XXL. It is a Brookes B33

BROOKS ENGLAND LTD. | CITY+&+HEAVY+DUTY | B33

I have this seat fitted now and can say it is very comfy. However when set up for what I would consider the perfect height it seems that the saddle is slightly to far forward, I find it uncomfortable to peddle with the balls of my feet, instead I find I am using the middle of my feet, or, to put it another way the peddle is pushing against the heel of my shoe.

Is there any devices out there that would allow me to get the saddle back a bit without putting the seat height up, I am thinking a bent seat post or something that would have the same affect, I am over 26 stone so there would fair chance a bent seat post could turn into a broken seat post if not strong, however I already have 4 children and do not intend any more, so although painful it wouldn't be the end of the world.

Thanks In Advance

Andy

Is there no way of moving the post fixing bracket forward under the seat.

Can you undo the bolt and swivel the mounting bracket so that the mount is in front of the bolt... That may move the saddle back an inch or so

There is such a thing as a bent back seat-pin. My nephew had one on his MTB. I think they're called "layback" seat pins. Lets have a look on Ebay:

Here they are. You just need to find the right diameter:
