A throttle can't damage a controller by connecting it to the PAS connector. Also, the LED light is working, which shows you have 5v to it and it's switching when the magnets go past. You need to look elsewhere for your problem.

@saneagle you're a star, firstly I disconnected everything, secondly I connected everything again making sure its pushed in properly and it works now thank you

Sounds like the throttle wrongly connected may have caused conflict within the controller , disconnection and then correct reconnection resetting the status quo ?
