Pendleton ebike battery

we have pendleton bike - we charged the battery fully, when placed upon the bike it only shows 1 green light , when press the button it flashes 5 for about 3 seconds then back to to 1----should it not show all 5 lights when placed on bike?

How about off the bike. Do all 5 LEDs illuminate then?
How old is the battery?

You press the button for 2 seconds to switch the battery on or off. The 1 LED shows it's working. If you press and hold the button for 5 seconds then 1 to 4 LEDs will flash to show the state of charge between 20% and full. It's in your manual on Page 9.
