I like the styling of Pedego bikes and they are of good quality. However I think for the components used they are way over-priced and you need to be aware that the throttle will become illegal to use in the UK shortly.
We have looked at using the exact same torque sensor they seem to show on that bike for use as a modular option on our bikes (coming soon), and I believe Wisper use something similar. We've still to complete testing.

I had a go on the pedego cruiser two years ago. Nice but preferred the Wisper so bought that. I found I struggled on steep hills on the Pedego but this summer in France I was amazed at how well the Wisper coped with hills.

As for throttles....thought they were essential but soon realised I rarely use them. Only use is to start off.
