Doesn't surprise me, I regard PayPal as a thoroughly dishonest company unfit to be allowed to handle financial transactions.
Accordingly I refuse to have anything to do with them. I avoid its now parent company ebay too, when getting information from ebay I always track down the actual suppliers and deal with them direct if they are suitable.
