papa motor?

hi just wondering if anybody has dealt with papa motor ? they now supply ping battery on the site and having dealt with ping a number of times (with brillant customer service )i am wondering if any one has bought one of there kits ?

Looks OK for.£600 for a kit with a 15aH Ping battery including shipping - maybe another £50 duty.I don't know what motor that is. Looks a bit like a Puma. I've asked on ES to see if anyone knows about it.

Be careful about air shipping Lithium batteries...the recent fire of an aircraft involving Lithium batteries combined with the explosion of batteries in the belgium postal service has made couriers and shipping companies very nervous about shipping batteries-the fines for wrong labelling could be $20,000.
Kudos will no longer air ship batteries.

Scary. Could this have implications for our cheap BMS batteries in future? They shipped mine by FedEx last time and it was clearly labeled on the box with power icon imagery and WARNING LITHIUM BATTERY

I just received a ping 15amp battery in the past few weeks with no problems the ping batteries use lifepo4 not the lithium ion chem which is more stable, the battery was clearly marked lithium dc power pack and was wrapped in foil which has always been the case if sending dc power packs ping in general offer a more professional service and arrives packed properly unlike bms battery
