is there any for sale anywhere? as i was told they will not be sold to the public any time soon not from the factory anyway.

Give the boy a chance, the first 2170 Cells only rolled of the production line last month, and the Gigafactory is only 20% built or something.

Add to that that they have to make enough Cells to fit into the 500,000 pre-ordered cars and target build by the end of 2018.

Each car needs around 7000! Cells, do the math it's a scary number, Panasonic and Tesla will have to produce more Cells than the entire world currently produces.

I don't think Bosch will be getting the 2170 Cells untill at least 2020!

man you cant even get a model 3 car until the middle of next year

so when these things hit the scrap yard what are they doing with all the cells in the uk?

does any company over here do what ev west does and re use the cell packs on conversions ?

Normally there are not too many that are reusable after the crash.

That's not a bad price, works out at around £90 for 40 odd Cells, which I guess is enough to make a 36v (500w) 12ah battery I guess.

Of course that pack is around £750 containing 330 Cells, so plenty left over to make a few ebike battery packs, sells those and you are quids in on the deal lol.
