Good day. So finally managed to hook up custom controller to my Carrera Crossfire E bike. I can't seem to gert the P and C settings correct. It seems to work in certain level but I throttle too hard or too often it cuts out - like the BMS seem to cut out - have to re-seat the battery and it works - but with same issue when throttling too hard or too often. So seems like my P1 might be wrong - it's on 87 now - suggested by other forum but I can't find specs for this 250W SR Suntour HESC motor. Any one might have fiddled around Carrera bikes? Vengance seems to come with same motor and original controller - so suppose it's specs would be similar - I suppose most Carrera's come with same SR Suntour setup. P and C suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

this is my current setup:
P1 - 87, P2 - 6, P3 - 0 - P4 - 0, P5 - 15
C1 - 06, C2 - 0, C3 - 8, C4 - 0, C5 - 2, C6 - 3, C7 - 0, C8 - 1, C9 - 0, C10 - n, C11 - 0, C12 - 4, C13 - 0, C14 - 2

For P1 you will have to use a GPS to set the figure as I not sure we have ever known the suntour gear ration for the hub.
Simply set the speed limit to 25km/h on the display for setting this up and then ride with agps to match the lcd readout to the gps. If the lcd under reads raise the P1 value and vice versa if it over reads, once one gets the two speeds mathcing pretty well then the P1 will be at near the correct value. Then you can set the speed to what ever you like.

P2 will likely be 1 or 6.
P3/0 is speed control so one is getting max current in all levels, throttle will give max current anyway. Use P3/1 current control much nicer to use. P3/1 is the default option for KT stuff and the reason why we use KT stuff, is to get rid of the aweful speed control.
PAS 1 will give 13% current, PAS 2 20%, PAS 3 33%, PAS 4 50% & PAS 5 100% using current control one shouldn't have any cutouts with PAS 1 -4. (see note on C5 for current setting).

C1 depends on the PAS unit used.
C3, I like 0 as it defaults to this when turned on again.

C5 is current related but I see you are set for 02, it is likely your lcd uses the % scale for current adjustment so 00 - 02 & 10 give max current. 03 is 50% of the rated controller max current, 04 66.5%, 05 75%, 06 80%. Try 03 - 05 and one shouldn't have any cut out try a higher setting until your happy. If you use a setting that cuts out whilst using PAS 5 under P3/1 setting or throttle then the C5 current value setting is too high.

C8 matters not as hubs don't have heat sensor imbedded.

Ok - I am not using PAS sensor - I really want to to work on throttle only - is that my issue? Like it shouldn't be - it's just for pedal assist.
