Hi All
Can anyone advise,Today my chain came off for the first time ,I quickly put the chain back on and ever since the bike an Oxygen Mtb offers no power assist at all when peddeling . The thump throttle works as normal.
Any advice would be of great help

You've knocked the magnet disc away from the sensor. Look behind the chain-wheel. You should see the black disc with magnets in it. The sensor is a little thing with a wire coming out of it. there should be a gap of about 1mm between the two.

If that's not it, you might have damaged the wire. It's easier to check these things if you turn the bike upside-down.

Dear d8veh
Thank you for your advice which was spot on ,I moved the magnet closer and motor now engages ,
While looking at the magnet circular ring I notice that it is set at an angle to the sensor it has always been like this since new to me it does not seem correct because as it moves around the sensor it moves away ther for I would think the power would come in and out as the magnets move around the sensor ,it feels like that as I ride but as I have only ever been on my bike I would not know how it should feel .I notice on the ring of magnets there are two lugs that set the magnets at the angle I am stating to think that there may be a fault when the bike was built ,I have tried to take a picture to show you View attachment 15184 regards Gbay

It's caught something at some point. Bend it back. It doesn't have to be vertical, but the moreso the better.
