having a real problem obtaining advice regarding a replacement for my das-kit c6 display
the kit included rear hub 8fun motor and 36v battery combined controller
the problem with display is it only shows one flashing block of charge even when battery fully charged.
i suspect problem is with display rather than controller ?
does any one know of a replacement display, there is a lack of information on the internet.
regards jdm.

My Oxydrive controller failed with fully charged batteries, the lcd showed one segment. I knew the batteries to be fine as a I had a watt meter inline to varify it.
The system failed to provide power and cut out as soon as I asked for any.
Mosfets resistance at the time measured good.
The voltage regulator had probably failed, I should /could have tried replacing it but decided to strip all out bar the hub and fit a new better KT set up instead.

Do you still get drive power ?

The guy that invented the Das-kit used standard readily available Chinese parts for the kit, but he reversed all the connectors so that you would have to buy replacements from him unless you want to do a load of soldering.

I would do what Neal did. For £70, you can get a really nice new controller and LCD, that will make your bike run better and give you much better flexibilty over what you do in the future.

The DAS KIT is OEM only, I think the controller was a Lishui.
The only reason so may of us bought one was because vfr ( aka d8veh at the time ) posted the link to them and they were a good price with the bullit proof Bafang CST being used.
I tired to shoe horn a KT pcb in to the controller housing but it wouldn't fit.

I told you that any substitutes will have the wrong connector. You can get a direct replacement here:
or the C600 here, which is functionally the same but wrong connector:

I've also been researching on Das-Kit as would like to both have spare parts in case of failure as well as more control on the programming.

Das-Kit use Bigstone displays, C6 is C600 Bigstone : http://bigstone-nj.com/node/9

They also use a DAS-PRO which is somewhat related to NEC MINICUBE, a multi-function emulator (on-chip debugging + flash programming ).
I'm also investigating on these to see if I can get access. If anyone can contribute to point resellers for these components and add more into this discussion would be great!!

Any resellers for Bigstone who would like to step forward are most welcome as well :)

the difference between the Oxygen C6 and the Bigstone C600 is that the connectors are the other way round. I think the same applies to the throttle and brake connectors, which are also reversed from standard, and maybe the cable connector at the controller. DAS kit did that, so that you had to buy their marked up parts from them rather than Chinese re-sellers.

I wouldn't panic about spares. Wait until the battery needs replacing, then get a 48v Dolphin type with integrated controller and the rest of the kit (LCD3, PAS, throttle) from BMS battery to convert the bike to a much better control system with more torque, more power and more speed at your disposal should you want it. If you don't want more torque, more power and more speed, get the 36v version of that integrated battery/controller.

Thanks! That's great idea. I'll look into it
Probably better technology will also be available within a year or two
