December 21, 20178 yr Hi I purchased an Oxydrive bike kit with a 700 25 wheel to go on my bike but i would like to buy a new bike with wider tyres. Does anyone know if I can use the existing motor and build a new wheel with a larger rim size ? Or do i have to buy a new wheel and motor already built ? Dylan

December 21, 20178 yr Author How much wider? 25C rim accepts tyres from 42 to 62 mm wide. My frame is too narrow but maybe I could get a bike so I don't have to change the motor thanks

December 28, 20178 yr You have to buy a rim with 36 holes. You can't drill extra holes because the spacing would be wrong.
