Just wondering what you people buy when you get motors from BMS. Do you just get the bare motor or ready built wheels. I am about to send an order for two Q128 and see that shipping costs are £244 for 2 built wheels and £77 for 2 bare hub motors so it seems to make sence to me to build the wheels here.

Shipping costs might change when you register on the site. I know mine do.

Their wheel-building isn't fantastic. there's not a lot in it economically, so I always get bare motors.

I was going to say that you would save money and do a better job buying just the motor and spokes from them and lace the motor yourself.
Their stock rims are no match for what you can find on ebay here.

Thanks for replies. Now see that 48v Q128H are not available at present only 36v listed.
I will try registering with BMS out of interest to see if it does change shipping costs. Any saving has to be worthwhile.

Get the 36v and use a 48v controller it will go tad faster.
