June 3, 20196 yr I asked Bosch, and they told me that the optimal RPM for the Active Line 2018 (3rd gen) is 80 RPM. Sounds a bit high - do most people keep that cadance?
June 3, 20196 yr The default cadence on their E Bike Range Assistant is 60 which looks pretty normal. Mrs Crossroads seems to proceed at about 48rpm on her active line plus.
June 3, 20196 yr ..other than getting a dedicated sensor is there any way to tap into the Bosch unit to get the cadence data?
June 3, 20196 yr 80 sounds about right to me, not that I’ve actually measured anything It just that 70-80 is a comfortable rpm for me to maintain without too much pressure on my knees and a good output from the motor.
